“Cut Throat Flow” is, as its name suggests, at once sweet and sour: the smooth dub - style bass line just flows so sweetly, but behind it, slightly mysterious sound effects weave in and out leaving the listener uneasy - reminded of what may be lurking in the shadows.

The darker side of Drum and Bass comes through on “Lazy Gun”: breaks mashed up by heavy filtering, percussive drop outs, deeeep bass: something a little different for Bear Necessities.
