Evolver formed two years ago, combining Matthew’s musical ideas with CD’s experience as a DJ to form a powerhouse of uplifting melody and storming beats. Evolver’s live show presents a much more powerful and exciting performance than the standard “two boffins behind a stack of synthesisers” with liuve percussion and MC to whip up the crowd. Evolver have performed extensively in East Anglia, working alongside the up-and-coming “offyerface” organisation as well as such names as Return To The Source, Plink Plonk, and Trance Europe Express and have recently been branching out to the Complex in London and the VIP tent at Tribal Gathering ‘96. With several recording projects in the pipeline including a remix for Michael Dog, Evolver are poised to make a big splash in the Tekno Pond.
This, their first release on the brand new label is at once hard and melodic, an original, inventive and energetic example of the emerging Trance - Core style.
