The duo are now on their third downbeat release, following “Chill Factor” & “Just a Touch” on their own Skindeep label, and the highly rated “Advance” Album. On this release the Narcotix label bravely switches styles, keeping the quality high and the connoisseurs higher with its refusal to be pigeonholed into any category.
The A side, “March” is as smooth as as you can get, with a relaxed tempo and deep bass, creating a groove both powerful and subtle. The AA side, “Transformation” is on a slightly rougher tip, a blend of drum & bass which is becoming increasingly rare, mixed with soft strings and a moving bass, intricate and sublime. It is unique in that this track is equally perfect for club or home (or anywhere!) and is both funky and mellow. As usual Narcotix delivers to those looking for something different every time to keep the buzz going......
