Clued was set up in conjunction with the Youth Awareness programme: a youth-driven organisation offering young people in East London advice and support with drugs, sexual health, crime and other things they face. The label was set up to raise awareness of this programme.
The first release on Clued was from the inimitable A-Sides, 'Lyrics & Skills / Into Existance', which received much critical acclaim and was the perfect start for the label. The second was to become Stage One's second most popular release behind Q Project's 'Champion Sound', the happiest and bounciest hardcore track of them all: Triple J's 'Follow The Sun'.

The label was wrapped up soon afterwards, safe in the knowledge that the word about the programme was on everyone's lips!
